social diet stigmas prevalent on TED.com

    Primal Fuel
So, I haven't posted in forever, but digging around on one of my favorite sites, TED.com, led me to start this topic. Someone needs to figure out a way to get Wolf, Art, Mark, or any of the other major supporters of post-civilization diet tracks to get invited to give a TEDTalk. you've got your speakers on the right track with organic raising, grass-fed meet, biodiversity, etc. etc. But then, the commenter and speakers alike are all stuck in the modern phobia of meet and fat. Basically, in summary, proper health is not represented on the website that is spreading intelligence to the users of the internet. Rant, maybe..... actually yes, this is most defiantly a rant

Yes, to dance beneath the diamond sky with one hand waving free
Silhouetted by the sea, circled by the circus sands
With all memory and fate driven deep beneath the waves
Let me forget about today until tomorrow

Unless TED has changed their ways, you don't have to be invited to speak, you apply...

But I agree... it would be awesome to get this information out to the intelligent folks who can afford to attend TED (and later, to the rest of us who watch online!)

Already suggested to Mark that he speak at TED. Perhaps if more folks here remind him, it will happen!

Here's the TED speaker nomination form:
    http://www.ted.com/nominate/speaker

It's quite an extensive form, and will take some time to complete. But if enough of us submit one on behalf of Mark, I think he's got a shot at being selected.

There was just a talk on TED about eating insects, that is pretty primal

i saw that one! good stuff, but too specific. We need an all encompassing pre-agricultural diet talk
