1 cup (91 g) fresh broccoli
40 g (1/4 medium) yellow onion, chopped
112 g (4 oz) sliced crimini mushrooms
3 slices uncured bacon, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
14g (1 TB) unsalted butter
Black pepper to taste
Fry bacon in skillet or wok over medium-high heat, rendering out fat. Melt butter into rendered fat and add mushrooms, onion and garlic. Saute until onions clarify and mushrooms begin to sweat; add broccoli and cook for 2-3 minutes or until broccoli is tender. Season with black pepper to taste; serve immediately.

Maba: You could also make it without the bacon, but if you do that I'd add a bit of salt. The bacon adds so much extra flavor, though...
