Is it bad to eat chocolate as a significant chunk of your diet if I don't experience the ill effects many seem to from lots of dark chocolate? I know the sugar is iffy but I sometimes do unsweetened chocolate instead. Would I be hurting my health in the long run if I consumed a whole bar, 100g of chocolate almost every day?
If you're calorie allowence is high I think it won't really hurt because you can still get in nutrients from other food then. Only concern is teeth maybe.

In Asda, the UK's Walmart, I found a nice home brand with ingredients from Ivory Coast and Dominican Republic that does 85% dark without any of the soy crap, and it is only 1GBP per 100g at the moment. I've been eating about 50g a day lately but I'm trying to cut down on it.

Lindt 85% or Lindt with grains of salt - 2 squares, not more. And not every day. Maybe 3-4 times a week. Which makes a bar a week. I like chocolate, do not "execrise willpower" not to eat it, it just comes so naturally. Thats my evening snack if I feel like snacking.

My favourite is G&B 85%. It just tastes the nicest IMO, more so than Lindt for example. I normally buy a bar on a Saturday (although not every week) and it never lasts till Monday! The higher percentage bars like that or the Lindt 90% contain so little sugar they are basically 100% primal as far as I'm concerned. Would not personally eat it every day though.

I'm not great at rationing myself so if I had it available all the time I would probably over eat it. I don't think there's a problem with eating (good quality) chocolate everyday if you can moderate yourself though! Plus the G&B that I like is quite expensive and I don't want to be spending £10 per week on chocolate!

    Jeanne Calment ate chocolate daily

    She lived to be 122
George Burns smoked a cigar every day. He lived to be 100.

Jeanne Calment also smoked, as many people who live over 100 tend to do.

    Draw your own conclusions.
everything can end, and it would be alright.
