Plop a bit of homemade whipped cream on top, sprinkle with nutmeg, and it's a lovely dessert!
I make fruit salad for my OH who is not on this way of life (I wish he would, he has a huge gut and eats far too much pasts and noodles and rice and fried chips). Anyway, the question is can I have some?
Apple, pears, pineapple, watermelon, grapes, papaya, peaches and I sometimes out strawberries in if we have some.
Thanks, I just want it for an occasional small treat after dinner, with a dob of double cream. Coming from Atkins it's hard to get my head round fruits.
Bowl of fruit's also quite lovely with some greek yogurt if you can find it. You could also make some by plopping some regular yogurt into a clean, large kerchief and hanging it up in the fridge with something underneath to catch the whey as it drips out. When you're done it'll have thickened to something with the consistency of sour cream.
