Re: the photos, what can I say except ROAR!!! You look fantastic Robin. You must feel a real sense of accomplishment that you've reached your goal. I can't wait to be there too, although there'll be no leopard-print monokini shots on my journal, I can assure you! Too much damage after a 130lb weight-loss.
Thanks Em. Yes it does feel good. You will get there too. And never say never, there may be a sexy swimsuit photo of you yet.

We're all fine here, but still in the dark. We were lucky, many lost their homes to the flooding.
Thanks Pebbles. We've all been keeping you folks in our thoughts. I have been through a few hurricanes down in Mexico and know that they can be pretty scary.

    Thanks Canio, WnC and Jens.

I guess I should get busy typing up the next chapter.

    Yowza!!!!

Is this the same Robyn I met at PrimalCon??? Ah yes, I see you in there, peeking out from behind those shades!

I am thoroughly impressed, lady. Seeing the photo evidence, it's time to kick myself hard in the backside and start seriously practicing what you've been preaching these last few months.

Thank you. You would be a perfect candidate for the kind of program I've been doing. You have a few pounds that you would be better off without, but you are generally healthy and fit without any massive metabolic disorders. This could really work well for you.
I know that my knees were thanking me all the way up Kilimangaro for not having to carry an extra thirty pounds.
There is an evil little voice somewhere in my head that really wants to tell all the people who were so insistently negative on my calorie counting threads to kiss my size 8 leopard print behind. Why is it that people get so threatened by the very idea of portion control? To me it is just common sense.

yeah, i think it's important to understand/count calories -- not so much because of thermodynamics (it doesn't really work that way), but really, because it just makes sense not to overeat -- even if whatever you are eating is good for you.
