Perfluoroalkyls from Fast Food Wrappers Showing Up in Blood

One more reason to skip the double-downs from KFC:

Perfluoroalkyls, which are chemicals used to keep grease from leaking through fast food wrappers, are being ingested by people through their food and showing up as contaminants in blood. [1]

What is scary is that the article says that everyone has PFCs in the blood (including children), and you can be exposed to it from non-stick cookware, dust, water and air!

I guess it's time for me to start breaking in my cast iron pans.

I hadn't seen that part of the article. That is concerning. You're right...time to switch it up with the cast iron.
