severe reaction to gliadin
My wife has been gluten free for about a year after being diagnosed with a sensitivity to gluten. Recently she suddenly became afflicted with gastrointestinal pain, sometimes severe, which has continued for 3 months. All tests have been negative so far but she just received the results of an ALCAT 100 test and it said she has severe reaction to gliadin and mild reaction to gluten. We really don't know anything about gliadin
Can anyone offer any information regarding gliadin?
Crazy stuff. My wife is treating herself as gluten intolerant, and her exercise urticaria (as well as diarrhea and hand arthritis) has cleared up.
