My diet is pretty repetitive too. Most days it doesn't bother. I think after a 23 hour fast I probably wouldn't care, so long as there was food at the end of it.

okay workout in the park this morning. was pretty foggy and wet. my pullups are coming along pretty well. been thinking through how to build a standalone pull-up bar for my apartment. I have one of the door-style pullup bars, but I'm just too tall to use them.
Today's breakfast:
omelet with 4 eggs & cheddar cheese
whey powder
Today's lunch:
salad - basically same as monday's lunch.

dinner tonight:
3 chicken andoullie links
frozen vegetables w/butter. i bought some unsalted butter over the weekend, and was using that. kind of bleh. i think i end up adding more salt than salted butter has in it.
I had to go buy cat food and ended up with a 85% chocolate bar and some cherries. I now have a slight headache from the carbs. Reminds me of eating the whole box of oreos on a saturday morning as a kid.
I should go for a walk to use up some of this energy and tomorrow's gonna be a fasting day.

yesterday for lunch, i had a salad with chicken thighs, cucumber, green pepper, carrots, sunflower seeds, and pepitas. and french dressing with walnut oil.
last night, I wasn't particularly hungry, so I didn't eat anything. I went to bed pretty early, too, and didn't get woken up, so it was a good sleep.

6/14/09 - Saturday
Breakfast - 3 Artichoke & Spinach Chicken sausages
3 eggs
Whey Protein Powder
Did an ifast for the rest of the day. Not probably the best thing to have done, but I did it anyways.
Attempted a parkour-ish workout last night, and it was pretty dismal. I haven't been stretching properly or doing Yoga, and it finally caught up with me, a few of the things I did pulled funny. Technically parks close in NYC at dusk, and last night there was a cop walking around the park. Which made me nervous. I ran stairs for awhile, tried some wall jumps and pulled my leg & foot funny, and gave up. I think not having any energy from the ifast didn't help things much, either.
Woke up this morning with a sore throat. Not sure if it's from the ifast, or walking in the rain last night. Not sure. But, feel pretty miserable - probably why I didn't feel that great yesterday. My weight was down pretty nicely, though, down to 218 this morning, which makes it 100lbs even I've lost. I think i have about 10lbs more to go to get to where I want, but not sure. Now, when I lose 2lbs, I can see it, so, we'll see.
Today has been a pretty high calorie day, but I'm perfectly fine with that. I did 3 1/3 ifasts this week, which I think was probably too much. I think I'm just going to stick to doing 2 a week.
Breakfast:
Almond Pancakes
grade b maple syrup - hate the taste of grade a, grade b is much better imo
butter
breakfast sausages
I ended up running The Experimental Kitchen today. I wanted to try making parsnip crisps (http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/a...ipe/index.html) and bought some Tilapia that I was going to try to make battered fish with. So, that's largely what I ate this afternoon:
Lunch:
Parsnip Crisps
Fried Okra
I also made Elana's Pantry's cupcakes. I burned them pretty badly, so I ended up eating all of them. But, overall, it was maybe 1/2 of the recipe - just ate the very middles of them. I totally failed at making frosting. I should have just followed the recipe instead of getting all smart.
Dinner:
Made a beer batter with 1 dark beer, 1/4 cup coconut flour, and bay's seasoning. Cut tilapia into strips and dipped in the beer batter. Then I deep fried it.
I also made more parsnip crisps.
Heading back to the area I grew up in in Wyoming later this week. I know there's going to be some un-primal eating, but generally it shouldn't be that bad.

After spending the past few days being really un-primal, I'm back into the swing of things. I think, anyways.
It's difficult going to an area you haven't been in a long time, and people offer to take you to lunch or make you lunch. It's generally just eat whatever people give you. I had some of the most seriously over-cooked pork chops yesterday. But, I saw someone I hadn't seen in over 10 years.
Yesterday:
steak
frozen vegetables w/butter
Today:
Breakfast
3 eggs & 4 strips of bacon

okay, been failing at getting back into the habit of keeping this up, but here goes.
Tue lunch -
Salad with hard boiled eggs, some various vegetables. Bought at the steam table place. Way too expensive.
Tue dinner -
Chunks of chicken with some mixed vegetables with olive oil on them
Wed morning -
Reasonable workout in the park. Ran 10 stairs, went to the park benches along the edge of the park where there's a wall behind, and did various pushups on each set of benches all the way along. There's a bench every ~200 ft, and the edge of the park is 1-2 miles long, so there's a lot of benches.
No breakfast, working back up to doing 24hr ifasts
Lunch -
Spinach + arugula Salad with chicken from Tue night with grape tomatoes, pepita's, sunflower seeds, carrots, zucchini, and cucumbers.
Dinner -
Was lusting after chinese restaurant chicken & broccoli. I think the sauce had sugar in it, wasn't probably the best thing to have, but I got over the craving. Didn't eat the rice.
Thursday -
Breakfast -
4 strips bacon, 4 eggs
Lunch -
Same salad as Wednesday
Dinner-
Skipping to pick up ifasting again
Friday:
Breakfast
4 strips bacon, 4 eggs, some sliced ham and some peppers.
Been generally having coconut oil + butter + some nuts & seeds as a part of my dinner to pick up my fat intake a bit. Seems to be working pretty well for me so far.
