I've just freed myself from a fitness trap
Oh man, I have been doing it wrong.
What's the point of going to the gym three days a week, pushing weights, and then wearing the imbalanced muscle gains around awkwardly in my life!
I've overhauled the way I approach working out. If I go to the gym it's body weight exercises and hauling around free weights. Tons of pull ups, push ups, squats, dips, and jumping around, but most of the time I just go to the park near my house and PLAY! Throw in some yoga, swimming, biking, and walking around town.
It's working ridiculously well for me; my body is responding with leaner practical muscle that I can use in my daily life and get energy from.
