Ok, I've began supplementing vitamin d, magnesium, vitamin b complex, fish oil, and multivitamin every day. I think that it's helping a bit, but there's still some flareups. I think the reason is because of my excessive eating of nuts -- I probably have about 5-6 full handfuls each day, maybe even more. I've decided to cut down on nuts, or just eliminate it for a week or two and see what happens.
Does anyone have suggestions for replacements? I eat nuts as my snacks from time to time and part of my meals. Is there a good replacement that fills me up and also tastes decently good? Thanks!
(Preferably some with low sugar)

jicama and guacamole is a good snack and gives some crunch factor.
Crunchy veges?
yumm ... haha.
@ Mog I don't think dairy's my problem .. i have kefir all the time and i only get flareups whenever i eat too much of one thing (ex. nuts)
Have you tried zinc? I remember reading that zinc deficiency causes acne.
i get it as part of my multivitamin, not a whole ton but enough. i don't think that it's vitamin deficiency to be honest, i'm just taking vitamin b to help cool it down a bit. it's mostly food i think.
Inflammation can cause acne, so too many nuts could certainly be causing you problems. Instead of snack replacements, breaking out of the habit of needing to be eating all the time (which is psychological) is better.
Also, I recommend this often, if you can swim in salt water. It will really help clear your skin up. And it is also good for your hair.
ehhh, i tried coconut milk for awhile but I don't really like the taste of it by itself. I tried adding pumpkin to it too and it tasted ... ehhh... yeah .. lol
