    Score!!! I was given 2 cow shanks & stew meat this am!

    My kids day care provider (who is muslim) took the day off yesterday to slaughter a cow as part of their observation of the Haij (annual holy pilgramage from Mecca to Medina). For giving them the day off yesterday they gave us 2 leg shanks, for making broth and stew meat (about 5lbs worth!)

    I was so stoked!
