Even if you would never in a million years consider homebirth yourself ("Too messy", "What if...?", "I'm a man".....) PLEASE call anyway if you live in Illinois. This could just as easily be big medicine trying to restrict your access to bacon. Homebirth is a reasonable choice for low-risk women. The opposition is half about competition for their business and half about CW around birth.

If big medicine spent half the amount of time on studying WHY women are drawn to homebirth and how they could improve maternity services in hospitals, they'd be far more effective at stemming the tide toward out of hospital birth!

Zone diet on and off for several years....worked, but too much focus on exact meal composition

Bumping to bring it to the top.

Please call if you live in Illinois! I'm in NY, and not too long ago some mamas calling from home made HUGE strides in getting a pro-homebirth bill voted in, which will make homebirth accessible/an option for many more women. One call makes a major difference!!

Like Lizch said, even if you are not into homebirth, aren't planning to birth ever, etc, its about having options, and the freedom to choose. The more choices we have the better!

    Men please call as well!
