I was ready to big time cheat yesterday.....

We went to a wedding and let me tell you, there was no cheating at this wedding, a 2 hour cocktail hour where they served, roast pig, rack of lamb, oysters, Roast beef, crab legs, lobster, smoked salmon, prosciutto w/homemade cheeses, swordfish, tuna, mahi mahi, shrimp that were the size of my hand, bacon wrapped scallops, coconut fried shrimp, olive bar, sushi bar and that was only the cocktail hour. Dinner came and who had room, the chocies were Chateau Brianne (sp?), Salmon or Chicken served with salad in a homemade parmesan bowl and yellow and green, green beans sauteed in butter and garlic. So, couldn't even cheat, there was all primal food there!! But boy oh boy was good food.

OH MY! That's a lot of crazy delicious sounding food. I'm curious though, no wedding cake or sweet desserts or you just didn't feel like eating after all that?

There was a lava cake with homemade ice cream and berries on it, I had a couple of bites but seriously I was so full I didn't even care too much, they had served us wedding cake too but I didn't eat that, it didn't look as good as the lava cake but that was it for dessert. I did go for an espresso with the lava cake.

my real question to my aunt yesterday when I saw her is what did they do with all the leftover food? I seriously should have doggy bagged those lamb chops LOL, she said they donated it to the food shelter..which made me feel better, there was way too much food.
