You could go either way. Sometimes some fruit does the trick, but sometimes I just have those "I GOTTA HAVE CHOCOLATE!" cravings.
I'm confused. When craving sweets, is it better to go for fruit such as berries or really dark chocolate? Fruit has more carbohydrates but it's a more natural option than chocolate. However, 85% organic dark chocolate has hardly any carbs and tastes great.
Any ideas?

I'm currently going for the chocolate. It packs more punch for me. That also could be because I'm not exactly rolling in the fresh, insanely sweet berries right now. I think the fruit is more Primal, right? But really it's what's going to satisfy you more.![]()
You know, that whole "seasonality" thing does kind of play a role for me. I generally don't eat much fruit that isn't in season. Now I'll probably grab chocolate, or an apple. In June, I'm nom'ing a pile of strawberries.

Going with the seasons makes sense. It's summer in the southern hemisphere so strawberries are really cheap. But like you said, sometimes you just have to have some chocolate.
in the warmer months i would usually grab a handful of cherries or something, but i've been so hooked on green and blacks (or dagoba) 85%+. it's got such amazing flavor, and it can linger in your mouth until it's just a creamy pile of hell yes
