    Another Coffe Query

I keep reading different things about coffee/caffeine. Martin at leangains.com says it's an effective fat burner and ok to have during the fasting period. At ZIOH they claim that it raises glucose/insulin which is bad. Several people on ZIOH have found that they started losing weight/fat after giving up caffeine - even green tea in some cases.

So which is it? Caffeine is an effective fat burner or caffeine slows/stalls weight loss because it raises insulin? Or is this one of those cases where it depends on the individual?

    Thanks,
    Astraia

I drink coffee all the time and it has yet to hinder me in any way; I follow a LeanGains style 16/8 Fast/Feed system.
My whole life, I've felt like an animal......but I've ignored my instincts. I ignored what I really am. That will never happen again.

Seems like it depends on the individual... and/or on too many other factors to measure. Sorry.

If Martin were primal he would probably refer you to Lyle McDonald to field that question. So, here's what Lyle has to say on that subject.
