    Cost of Blood Testing?

    Shop Now
I was thinking about tracking my results with the Paleo diet with some blood tests (as outlined by Robb Wolf in the Plaeo Solution). I was wondering if anyone had done this, and how much such tests cost.

BTW, I don't have any health insurance

    Check with your city/county/state.

Around here, Central District Health offers "cholesterol screening" clinics to the public on the 1st Tuesday of every month. For $22, they check blood pressure, fasted blood glucose, and the usual cholesterol numbers.

That's a great idea! The local health dept is a great place to start.

If that doesn't yield much, or if you need more, research:

Any (Lab) Test (it's the name of a chain of walk-in labs all over the US) (an online service that lets you purchase lab tests, faxes you an order and you head into labcorp...listed on their site)

It'd be worth it to get health's not not wise to go without. Even just a basic plan from Kaiser Permanente would be good.
