    7 weeks

7 weeks in and can I say what a great ride it has been so far. I have gone, soapless, pooless, hopefully candida free very soon, lost 15lbs, currently at 31% BF down from high 30's almost 40's, inflammation gone, sleeping better, belly fat going down, my cycle returned after being absent, lost many inches off the waist 4 inches to be precise. I am sure there is more but these are just the few things that come to my mind this morning. Thank you MDA!! I just had to remind myself all the great things that are happening.

    How about you?

Yeah well you know it is an accomplishment for a Jersey Girl to give up her soap and shampoo...I have to say the family hasn't noticed yet. Maybe I will tell the husband sometime around Christmas.

thanks Lori - I realized you changed your pic. Love it.

For any women (or men) wondering what to do with the sugar in the house, it makes a GREAT exfoliator. In the case you need one that is. I started years ago due to sensitive skin problems.

My whole life, I've felt like an animal......but I've ignored my instincts. I ignored what I really am. That will never happen again.

    Awesome job!

6 weeks in total primal (8 weeks sugar-free). Can you believe on the Tuesday after Labor Day I was 162.5 pounds and 42% body fat. I was squeezing into a size 14. I actually had to by a one-size dress on vacation that weekend because I couldn't fit into my clothes. I had been wearing DH's shorts and t-shirts all summer and had nothing for the upcoming fall season. I was very sad because I looked very pregnant (3rd trimester pregnant). By Halloween, I was 145 and 26.6% bodyfat and my size 10's are on the loose side. I don't look pregnant at all and in clothes,)! I lost 5 inches off my waist and 7 inches off my belly in 6 weeks of primal. I have lost a rough patch on my elbow and cleared up my IBS issues (at least until this week when I added some flax to cure some constipation -probably too much too soon lol). My hair is looking very shiny.

I didn't have any energy until this past week when I upped my carbs to be over 50g. Since then I have plenty of energy and feel great but have stalled w/ weight loss. I'm going to wait and see if my body adjusts to the additional carbs. I tend to stall at weights I was at for long periods of time in the past and I was at this weight quite a while twice in my life. In a few weeks, I may try lowering carbs again.

No changes in sleeping. I am seeing a connection between eating cheese and my tinnutis so I may explore that.

Yeah I figured I should do a pic of myself and not me and DH, sad part is I am not in a lot of pics, I am usually the one shooting the pics. my 6 year old took this pic of me.

I want to try that with the sugar, do you mix it with anything or just right on the skin?

I either mix it with facial foam cleanser or with water. Just enough to make a thick paste.
