Absolutely. As long as you use one that with acceptable ingredients - whey-based, low sugar, etc - protein powder is good for quick protein infusions in a pinch.

It is acceptable, but hardly something you need if you are eating primal. Log you intake and see if your food doesnt give you enough.
I used to be pro-supplement but through the years i've changed into skipping the powders(and definetly the bars).
Pointless waste of money....
