    How would Grok be treated.....

    Primal Fuel
    ...if he was gay?

There seem to be quite a few openly gay people on this board. I'm not here to talk trash or rile anyone up. It just crossed my mind this afternoon that this entire lifestyle we're embracing is loosely based on the life and times of a fictional character named Grok. We want to eat like we think he ate and move about in our lives like he probably moved, etc. But, what would Grok's life be like if he was gay?

I think that his fellow Groks would probably care more about how well he could throw a spear rather than what he would do with his own personal spear.

Ya know... I've always considered early human tribes to be not that different from wolf packs. I once heard it said that perhaps we didn't domesticate the wolf, but he domesticated us, but that's besides the point. Just observing the dudes I work with, it's pretty clear they have a pecking order just like a pack of wolves. It's both humorous and insightful.

So when these questions come up, about "Grok Culture" I just sort of figure to myself that it would be as in any wolf pack. He'd either be a submissive male, or an outcast, I would assume.

most humans are, to some extent, bisexual. and to OP, he'd probably be outcast or something. perhaps killed. fortunately, we live in modern times.

Actualy, if Native American cultures are any indicator, homosexuality would be accepted more than in modern american culture.
Homophobia is more of a religous / cultural thing than a primitive thing

Interesting. Why would he be submissive? Being gay doesn't mean that a guy is any less masculine, aggressive, dominant or physical...

The concept of "homosexuality" in the modern sense only emerged around the 1890s, so the question as posed is unanswerable. It's entirely a modern, western concept. Who Grok might bonk would not lead him to be categorized in the modern identity sense of "gay."
