As it's peeing it down here in my corner of Blighty...

For our American friends, The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band were/are (without Stanshall d. 1995) a comedy folk/rock/aven band of the 60s and early 70s, without whom Monty Python probably would never have existed. Frontman Viv Stanshall also lent his comedy talents to The Damned's Lovely Money.

They never really troubled the British charts (but, then, they never aimed to do so) but their most famous hits include Mr Apollo, I'm The Urban Spaceman, My Pink Half Of The Drainpipe, and Intro & Outro. They did have one bestselling album - The Doughnuts in Granny's Greenhouse.

I've got into a 56-track YT playlist now, but I'll post more later.

'Tis the day for being very, very, VERY, silly!
