Sorry if this has been discussed, I searched the forum without success.

Anyway, are there any famous/high profile/ well known people - business, sports, movies, society etc who are proponents of the primal lifestyle?

There are plenty of famous vegetarians

But what about us? do we have anyone up there?

I guess Chris McCandless - the kid who died in the Alaskan Wilderness and had a movie made about him (Into the Wild) was primal in principle.... anyone else?

Hugh Jackman eats/trains fairly primally, as well as Matthew Mcaughnhay (spelling is way off), The guy from Step Up has been caught wandering around in VFFs; to be honest a lot of people in Hollywood seem to be trending towards Primal/Paleo

We could use some more high visibility torch bearers!

Any male actor that has to get "ripped" for a roll, likely gets Primal during their cutting and muscle building regiment! Wether they know it or not....

I think a good place to look would be the strong men of the late 1800's and early 1900's.

While see the point of having visible role models, I hope Primal does not become "trendy" in the bad sense of the word, like airhead actresses associating Primal with not wearing underwear.
    Ancestral Health Info

I design websites and blogs for a living. If you would like a blog or website designed by someone who understands Primal, see my web page.

Primal Blueprint Explorer My blog for people who are not into the Grok thing. Since starting the blog, I have moved close to being Archevore instead of Primal. But Mark's Daily Apple is still the best source of information about living an ancestral lifestyle.

Yes, he mentions eating whole grains, but note it is only once a day! And he advocates a BAS for lunch and dinner. If everyone ate this way imagine how healthy the world would be.
