    Primal Blueprint Expert Certification


    A Spicy, Saucy Braise...you could probably finish this in a Crock-Pot.


    *3 pounds Goat Ribs, cut into 2" square pieces (have them do this for you at the butcher)


    *1 large Onion, diced

    *4 cloves Garlic, peeled and crushed

    *2" segment Ginger Root, peeled and minced

    *1- 28 oz. can peeled Tomatoes


    *2 tsp EACH ground Cumin, Coriander, Chile Powder and Black Pepper

    *2 Bay Leaves

    *2" piece of Cinnamon Stick

    *4 Cloves, whole

    *2 tsp Garam Masala powder


    *Oil for frying,about 2 Tablespoons


    Saute Onions with oil in a large heavy pot. As they start to turn golden, add all spices EXCEPT Garam Masala, and continue to saute for a few more minutes. Add Goat pieces and continue frying, stirring and turning so mixture doesn't burn, and the meat gets browned on all sides.


    Add tomatoes and Garam Masala, stir, cover and lower heat. Simmer for three to four hours, until meat starts to fall off the bone. Remove Bay Leaves, Cinnamon Stick, and Cloves. Serve with Cauliflower Rice.

    Kuno, I *MUST* make a trip to the Halal store. This sounds awesome. Do you eat dairy? It would have tasted great with a side of cucumber-mint raita.

    I don't eat much dairy, but I do love raita from time to time with spicy meat dishes. Usually I make it with Cilantro; but you're right- the mint would be perfect with this! Thanks!
