Do you like iced tea?
I'm new to the Primal lifestyle and am trying to figure out what to drink with my meals. Basically, I drink milk (grass-fed cows), water and juice (organic). From what I've read, however, it seems that organic juices contain too much sugar to drink with meals (or am I wrong?)
So, what does everyone drink with their meals? I really don't want to be drinking water and milk all the time!
Do you like iced tea?
I like a splash of lemon juice in my water...not much sugar in that.
Seltzer is good too - they come in a variety of sugarfree unsweetend flavors.
Ummm...water. Sometimes I jazz it up with a wedge of lime or lemon. I occasionally drink seltzer if I'm craving fizzy. I like herbal tea, but not with meals. Other than that, the occasional glass of Scotch or a nice shiraz
As a general rule of thumb though, it is best not to drink your calories. I would recommend getting used to just drinking water.

Juices are fruits without the fibre, which slows down sugar absorption and makes you feel full earlier, so I wouldn't recommend juice. I can easily drink 2 glasses of orange juice, which are made from 6-8 oranges, but I'm perfectly happy after eating 1 or 2 oranges if I eat it all. What a difference! I avoid dairy and detest tea, so I just drink water. I think water is great.

Plain ol' water 99% of the time, once in a while some ginger root tea
Don't like lemon in my water. Don't like any carbonated water either (though I've never tried flavored seltzer water - thanks for the tip!).
I know I'm being real picky! I'm naturally a very picky eater so it makes the whole Primal thing a little more difficult for me. Just looking for some more ideas.
Water with cucumber slices perhaps?
Tea, coffee, water
Unless you have no sugar and hunger issues, aren't looking to lose weight, and aren't keeping carbs on the low side, you might want to avoid fruit juices. Just eat fruit instead.
