    Cool Meat n Gas

    Primal Fuel
I have just started a couple of days ago but I've noticed (so has my wife and son) that the increased consuption of meat and veggies has really made me somewhat gassy. Are others experiencing this too? Is this something that will/may continue or is it just an adaptive response to the change of diet?

I have been wanting to cut out all the processed foods that I can in order to be healthier. Any advice is appreciated.

Strange, when I'm eating low carb I almost never fart except when I have to go to the bathroom.

Maybe your gut needs time to adjust? Or perhaps you are sensitive to the veggies? The fiber could make you gassy, I suppose, if you aren't used to it.
Remember, you are unique just like everybody else.

For me it was the opposite. Farting was a competitive sport in my large family and I was the champion! As I weaned off the grains the gas subsided, my gut was definitely trying to tell me something.

I'd guess your flora are adapting. Give them a couple of weeks to sort themselves out. I hope the wife doesn't make you sleep in a tent meanwhile.

+1. I'd add some probiotics and digestive enzymes over the short term.

Now Gr8 dophilus and Garden of Life Primal Defense are two good probiotics.

Now Super Enzymes are my current fave digestive enzymes.

I was hypochloridic. Now Foods Superenzyme (capsules, not tablets) resolved the issue.

Are you consuming considerably more veggies than you were before? If so, that could be the culprit, until your body adjusts. Try cutting back on the veggies and sneaking back up a little at a time. I'm firmly in the "no farts" camp myself, so don't give up.

Adrianag, I'm sorry about your fall from your family Mount Olympus. I hope you've found other things you can excel in. ;-)
