Drank some coconut water before and after; fyi. My ride was bomber! 90 minutes and I wish we had ridden longer!

i just eat as per normal - just higher quantities. i also pack trail mix with me. heard good things about coconut water, haven't really felt like i needed it.

What's more primal than gripping your bike for dear life as you speed down a rocky trail? Or riding all the way up a particularly challenging climb and being able to admire the view from the top?

I love mountain biking. More fun than anything!

Damn I really want to start MTB-ing this Summer!! I moto-crossed as a kid until I was 16 so my bike handling is good, I just need all the equipment!

I have a MTB but I also have a road bike. I wanted to start riding to work again soon but I will need to build up to it. It's about 20 miles one way and I am not sure if this would be considered moving around at a slow pace?
It's a long way and hard work getting home against the wind.

I'm an avid mtn biker and follow mostly paleo mostly due to my celiac disease and soy intolerance...its getting to be that time of year here in Colorado...wondered if any others live in the area!?! Always looking for good folks to meet up for a ride! I try to get out 2-3 days a week once spring hits.

Well if mountain biking isn't primal then we should start a campaign to have it included!! :-) I live in the Scottish Highlands, its even better for mountain biking than Canada apparently <ducks>

cemdev, very envious of your proximity to Whistler! One of my ambitions to go ride there. For now I shall have to make do with the Yorkshire Dales on my doorstep!
