I used to be hooked on oatmeal...in fact, during one of the challenge month quizzes, I declared it as my 20% because I still had a little bit every morning. Shortly after, I decided to ditch it and switch to bacon and eggs. Never looked back and don't miss it now.
On the constipation issue, I've been primal for almost 3 months and it's *finally* eased for me. It was the only issue I faced that I wasn't happy about. Increased fat didn't seem to help. I added magnesium and I think that helped a bit. But in the end, I think it was just the time it took for my gut to heal from a lifetime of overstretching it with grain-based fiber.
Zone diet on and off for several years....worked, but too much focus on exact meal composition
