Years before I went Primal I cut down on eating dairy because it was exacerbating my acne; the internet told me that it was the hormones in dairy that were causing it. Now that I'm eating Primally and a little more aware of how things work, what I'm eating, and how much etc I've noticed that even though I cook with butter almost every day and have a little cheese on either an omelette or a salad, neither of those causes my acne to appear again. The moment I have a few tablespoons of yoghurt, however, or if I have a few sips of milk, spots start appearing.
Can someone explain this to me? I'm really curious about it and it would help me avoid it more if I knew just what was going on.
