    Given i LOVE every single organ meat i have ever tried, and adore pig meat/bacon....ii am making pigs ears tonight!!! following this recipe somewhat and will definitely take pics of my process!!

    i am way to curious not to try. i was gonna try pickled pigs feet but i will admit the finished product of pig ears looks good haha.

    funny....my mom buys them for the dog...hahahah

    That is funny I associate pig ears with the dog too because they make it into a rawhide for them. I have never tried them, we used to sell them in our butcher shop growing up, along with pig feet, hogmaws, tripe and oxtails. Can't wait to hear how it went for you.

    Regarding pig's head, this is one of my favorite videos. While it's more general than just ears, the results look stunning and tasty. And I have a thing about Chris Cosentino's hands.

    I have a pig head in the freezer. This is fantastic! Still gotta get around to doing something useful with all those chicken feet too.

    Pigs ears and feet are wonderful to add to bones when making stock - the jell is just so solid!!

    Pigs' ears are pretty commonly found here in Asia. Usually braised in soy sauce.

    It's mostly gelatinous with some crunch from the cartilage.

    Did I mention it's yummy?
