    Anyone Use Spam?

    Primal Fuel
I like the taste...but it's processed, so not sure if it's a good thing to eat.

Run away. Run far, far away. Put the can down and back away immediately.
in all seriousness, though, you can have it for your 20%, just don't try to fool yourself into thinking it's primal.

Isn't it all the parts of the pig that don't make it into the whole hams and bacon? What makes it not primal? I'm on a cell phone otherwise id google it.

Edit: was able to google it... only bad ingredient I see is potato starch and its less than 2 percent. I'm actually unclear on potato starch... wouldntg that be a better chloice than corn starch?

    Anyone have thoughts on this?

Ingredients (from the wiki): chopped pork shoulder meat with ham meat added, salt, water, modified potato starch as a binder, and sodium nitrite as a preservative. Spam's gelatinous glaze, or aspic, forms from the cooling of meat stock
I was mostly remember the salt.

It's not as bad as I remembered it being, ingredientwise. I was more looking at how processed it is and the salt content. It's not the best choice, but far from the worst.

Mr. Ski LOVES fried Spam slices. I usually steal one when he cooks them up. He gets the Less Sodium Spam and the
Spam with Bacon. Both are pretty tasty. They're not from pasteured pork but IMO it's not a bad food for an occasional treat. I also keep a few cans in my hurricane/blizzard emergency kit.

Spam with bacon is indeed a treat. Not exactly primal, but it's so yummy I'm not sure I care.

As cheats go, you could do a lot worse.
