Not at all. In fact, I would say it's not enough(for me anyway). I just ate 6 pieces of bacon with my eggs just a little bit ago. I sure you'll start to see that around here bacon is looked at like mana from heaven.
It's not excessive as long you account for it in you caloric needs for the day.
At least I've found that I can get nitrate free bacon from Costco for a lot cheaper than my regular grocery store...
I <3 Bacon!! I had 4 pieces myself this morning. You will naturally back off the bacon over time and want other things and then come back to the bacon, I think it is cyclical and also I know I have deprived myself of it for so long that it feels like you are "endulging" so to speak.

Its your old CW mind talking. I have a few slices every morning, as well as often with lunch and/or dinner.
- If it was cute and cuddly at some point, eat it. Ignore everything else. -
- Food is first, and foremost, nothing more than fuel. -
- The body is animal. The mind, however, is not. -
Bacon is pretty much the greatest food ever.
I don't think it's a great idea - if you eat bacon every day, you'll miss out on homemade sausages!
I think in the old days when people doing farm work and the like breakfasted off bacon a rasher was probably a large and thick affair. These days most of what's sold is scarcely thicker than cardboard - besides often being cut rindless and too lean in deference to what the newspapers, the women's magazines, etc., have led shoppers to look for.
Where I used to live we used to use a butcher who cut the bacon to whatever thickness the customer wanted.
