    Primal Fuel
    Well, my stubborn body likes to get stuck at the 200 marker and I am beginning the leptin reset today. I know it has to be off because I have been overweight/obese for so long and it takes me a long time to drop weight. I still have 40lbs give or take a few lbs to go. I am not going to journal everyday, although that would be cool if I could. I just know with the boys, I don't get much time to post anymore. I will just update as I go, when I can.

    So, stuck at 204 and had about 56g of protein for breakfast. Wasn't hungry when I ate and even more not hungry now. I had blood work done a few weeks ago and waiting to hear from the dr. today as to where I am at with it all. I should update with some pics of progress so far. Let me see what I can muster up.

    So, day 3 of the Leptin reset and doing wonderfully, lost all sweet tooth cravings. Feeling full all day long, no snacking, no bingeing and have begun to sweat. I think this is the exact thing I needed. Sleeping solidly at night, not feeling so fatigued when I wake up or throughout the day. Rock on!! The past 3 mornings my protein intake in the morning have been anywhere between 55-73g. I also upped my Vitamin C and am taking some 500g magnesium 2x a day.

    Still going steady on the Leptin reset. My meal "times" are all thrown off though. I get up early with the kids for school so I am eating a large breakfast at like 6:30-7 and then find myself hungry around 3pm and skip dinner then. No weight shift yet, but I am sure it will come.

    Slammed with the stomach bug in this house for 5 days now :*( Boo!! I am down 2lbs and I didn't even have the bug...but I think for sure yesterday I had the flu....sore and achy all day, stomach pains like nobody's business, but never threw up or went to the bathroom. So weird. Anyway, we finally went 30 hours without a kid puking..hopefully we will be on the upswing of this puppy. That was extremely frustrating and I didn't stick to the leptin reset as far as eating within a 1/2 hour of rising there were many days I didn't eat breakfast, it was too chaotic with all the mess going on in here. Maybe tomorrow I will shoot for it again.

    I FINALLY had a breakthrough!! Hit the 199 mark!! WooHoo!! Never EVER see that number 200 again!! I won't be pregnant again, so no worries of having to gain weight from that anymore, this baby factory is closed!! Wanted to be fit before my 40th birthday and I am well on my way!! I am only 38, can easily do this before the end of the summer. Clothes are getting looser and I haven't even been working out. Still got the bum foot, so I do little weight excercises now and again and only this week started taking walks with the kiddos during the week, nothing that I would consider workout noteworthy.

    Also wanted to add that I am not being faithful at all with the leptin reset. It has been so humid and hot up here that the thought of eating, makes me ill. I was also glad to read Mark's post last week about the whole 65g of protein in the morning when you are not hungry and I am still losing so I don't think the leptin was really the issue...who knows...but we plug along.

    Just had to go through the journal to find out what my lowest was and that was 197 and that was after I had the + pregnancy test....hmm so I thought I was at pre-pregnancy but alas 2 more lbs. OK, well 2lbs to be under pre pregnancy and then I have 17lbs to be at wedding weight....would like to lose a total of 39 more lbs, we will see what my body does.

    Well, hit 196 so that makes me below pre pregnancy weight, just shy of his 1st birthday. July 20th, 2011. Still plugging along. Nothing really exciting to add. Haven't really worked out still, got to put that on the list LOL!! I just can't find the time with all the kids home at this point.

    Well here I am March 2013 and I haven't updated in a while. The longest plateau of my life right now. Just started taking some 5HTP and GABA at night to help control cravings and help me feel not so blue. It's been a long winter and working out has been so hard on me. I think though I am hitting a breakthrough and I am changing course here. I found out why working out makes me gain so much and why I stall with losing. I am not eating enough, ugh!! I really am making a point now to keep up my 6 day workout schedule. Doing at home lifting heavy 3x a week and 2 other days get out and walk. I think all along this has been a problem. I get so tired when I workout on paleo. I don't think I am timing my carbs right either. So the plan going forward is some carb refeeding and see where it leads me
