oh, and if you really want out of ketosis, in spite of all the brain and body benefits, just eat more carbs.

One thing I've noticed about ketosis.. my breath is bad and I have no idea what to do other than to coat my tongue in peppermint oil! Thoughts?

Kat, you're the bomb. I just have to tell ya.![]()

What makes you believe it to be a problem? Have you been reading all those scare stories bandied about by sites against (V)LC dieting? They are - mistakenly - or deliberately - confusing it with ketoacidosis, which is only a problem if you're diabetic and, yes, this can be life-threatening.
Wikipedia article on ketoacidosis: - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diabetic_ketoacidosis
Ketosis, OTOH, is perfectly safe, perfectly natural, result of low carbing (I'm deliberatly aiming to get back there myself, just to make my life a tad less stressful!) and has many benefits.

Ketosis is a Good Thing. Trust us on this.
