Any tme I start working out now, my muscles grow by leaps and bounds instead of barely at all. I used to make a regular habit of chin-ups and push-ups, but there was not too much progress back then. I was obese, bloated and malnourished, etc. Now that I'm starting from relatively lean (18% body fat +/-) with proper nutrtion, it's easier progress. And I can take a week or two off and not lose much strength, if any at all.
Steak, eggs, potatoes - fruits, nuts, berries and forage. Coconut milk and potent herbs and spices. Tea instead of coffee now and teeny amounts of kelp daily. Let's see how this does! Not really had dairy much, and gut seems better for it.
