    Wonderful photos!
It looks like you had an amazing time!

I don't think I could do the fish thing either!

Glad you had such a great time, totally jealous right now. All the food looks glorious - definitely something I'd throw all caution to the wind for, LOL. Those ribs and ice-cream...
I've heard of those fish-pedicures before, but I dunno if I could get through one. It's not that I'm nervous about them, I'm just super-ticklish and don't know if I'd be able to keep my feet in the water, haha. What does it feel like?

The fish spa just feels a little like pins and needles, it was only really tickely (sp?) when you spread out your toes and the fish go between them. It feels really nice though.

Well, according to my scales I've gained about 5 kilos while I was away. Of course I know a lot of that is water-weight from all the carbs I ate so it'll come off easily enough. I'm not particularly bothered about it tbh, I feel really strong. My muscle tone seems to have increased out of all proportion to any workouts I've been doing (that's exactly nothing btw). I was lifting while doing VLC and nothing seemed to be happening, then as soon as I upped my carb intake... BAM, all this muscle definition started appearing. Is gooooood

Tomorrow officially marks the end of my summer holiday. I'm back to Uni and work, so today is 'get organised' day. I need to clear off my desk and get all the washing done. Cook up some batches of chicken legs and meatballs for lunches and tidy up the house. It's good timing actually, after my fabulous holiday I feel ready to get back into the swing of things and get this degree finished finally.

I need to sit-down and work out a schedule as well, that includes working out, studying, working, sleeping and some down-time. If I have it pasted up on the wall, I'm more likely to stick to it. If I don't have a plan, then everything tends to go tits-up and nothing happens

    Eats yesterday:
B: Satay chicken, black-bean beef, stir-fried veg and a vegie omelette at a asian place in the food court
    L: Pork rinds and salsa
    D: Nada
S: Coconut butter, 2 triangles of dark toblerone (gave the rest away), 4 brazil nuts, 2 coffees with coconut milk

    Exercise:
Swim at the beach with the kids. Was really choppy so most of the exercise came from lifting my kids up after they'd been dumped by the surf.

OMG! Love love love love love! You have no idea. You have me practically bouncing up and down in my seat! I think I could eat that food for the rest of my life, easily. The coconuts! Oh the coconuts. *envy!*

It's so funny, we were actually talking about those fish spas today! Too ironic.

Oh what a wonderful time. And look at you all tanned and gorgeous. And yay for magical muscle definition! Woot! Fabulous.

Em, you look so relaxed in your photos. Nice!!!!!!! The fish spa... interesting and kind of gross ... I would probably be laughing my head off I'm so ticklish. That food at bumbu bali looks great, I've heard great things about that place. Glad you had a wonderful time! Well deserved.

    Thanks folks

Suse, if you ever go to Bali, you have to go to Bumbu Bali, it's the best!

Well, back to real life today. I just can't seem to get my shit together! I haven't cooked a proper meal except for breakfast since I got home. I really need to eat a salad or something!

    Eats yesterday:
    B: Kippers and scrambled eggs
    L: Nada
D: Nibble of kids leftover carbonara
S: 2 Coconut coffees and 4 brazil nuts

Wow, that's not a lot of food! No wonder I was hungry this morning.

    Exercise:
Nada - Need to get back into this, big time!

Ah well, it's 3pm and I gotta work tonight so I'd better go catch some Z's.

Getting back to "real life" would be tough after a vacation like that. Seriously drool worthy food porn. Ummm coconuts.

Welcome back to reality, however over-rated it may be.

Glad you had a good time and did some serious relaxing.

    Thanks Robin

The world has gone mad! Well at least this side of it. The earthquake in Christchurch is just appalling and in Karratha (where my mum lives), they're in the middle of a cyclone and they got hit by a tornado yesterday!! WTF!? El Nina strikes again.

Here in Perth, it's hot. I don't like this heat anymore, I want Bali heat with the beautiful moist, tropical air and sea breezes. I think I may be coming down with post-holiday blues, LOL.

Work last night was boring as hell. I was specialling one patient who'd had his tonsils out and was a collapsed airway risk. Well, he was fine, so I sat and read a book all night and tried very hard not to fall asleep. I did the nod and catch a couple of times overnight I can tell you.

I woke up to panicky phone calls from my Mum who, understandably, is terrified. I wish she would hurry up and move back here, I hate cyclone season knowing that she's in the path of most of West Coast ones now.

Anyway... back to our regular programming...

    Eats for yesterday:
    B: Kippers and scrambled eggs
L: Chicken leg and coconut butter
    D: Bacon and scrambled eggs

    Overnight at work:
    Brazil nuts and 85%
BAS with feta cheese and avocado

    Exercise:
Zip, zero, zilch. My get up and go got up and went and I can't find the energy to chase it
