He-he...and thanks Batty. I appreciate it. Was a day full of drama yesterday, but hopefully things are gonna work out.
Anyhoo.....
I had my ward's Christmas function last night. Total fail on the Whole 21 thing! I made the best choices possible from the limited set-menu but the 5 or 6 glasses of champers were all my own fault
So,
- Entree was bread and olives, I just ate the olives
- Main: we could choose from salmon over a chickpea mash thingy, black angus sirloin over mash potato or a turkey roll thing with pastry case. I chose the steak, but there would've been butter in the potato and it had some kinda creamy sauce on top that probably had flour in it, dunno, but definitely cream anyway.
- Dessert was an apple tart, bread and butter pudding or a panna cotta. I had panna cotta, came out on some kind of biscuit base which I left, but the pudding itself was awesome! Funny, most people were saying it wasn't sweet enough, yet I thought it a little too sweet. Guess that's what happens when you don't eat sugar anymore.
Consequently I felt like shit this morning. I'm coming good now, but I was pretty hungover and my digestive system was all outta whack from the unfamiliar foods. Back on the wagon today.
I had the lamb and kale thing for brunch and am looking at a huge tail piece of salmon for dinner tonight with some sweet potato.
I still haven't managed to get a workout in, it's been over a week now. I am just so damn tired all the time. I'm going to go to bed super-early tonight, like 8.30 and try for a solid 10 hours of sleep. If I'm still tired after that then I'll know this is related to my thyroid. Not that this knowledge will give me any more options than I have right now, but at least I can stop beating myself up for being a lazy cow!
