Great stuff Al! I like your videos a lot.
This month marks the 1 year anniversary of my blog so I made a new video montage to commemorate this milestone. Check it out here.
Thanks to all my friends here at MDA for helping to spread the word and make my blog a success!

That backbend over the bar/pull-up was INSANE!! I've never seen anything like it.
Great vid, but definitely needs a heavy metal soundtrack.![]()
Love that one handed plyometric push up!!!!

I love the muscle-up followed by the casual hop over the bar (at 14 seconds).
edited to add: No, it does NOT need a heavy metal soundtrack!

Amazing! If you don't mind my asking, how much of that could you do 1 year ago?
Thanks! I'm been trying to find out if there is a name for that move but I can't seem to find anything. It's pretty sure it's a gymnastics move.
Thanks! That's one of my favorites, too!
Thanks, Dragonmamma. I call that move a "muscle-over."
As for the soundtrack, I have to use original music for legal reasons. That is actually a song that I wrote, performed and recorded myself. I have some heavier stuff that might make it's way into a future video but I thought this song was just right for this one.
Good question. A year ago I couldn't do even half of that stuff. Thanks for giving me perspective on my progress!

AWESOME! I want to find a new park! Inspiring that you are hitting the bars even with snow on the ground... And not even with gloves! ;-)
Damn Al. Now thats a workout to me. Screw the gym and find a jungle gym.
Also check out Nonpoint for the music. Not too heavy but nowhere close to soft.
Today is a new day. You will get out of it just what you put into it. If you have made mistakes, there is always another chance for you. And supposing you have tried and failed again and again, you may have a fresh start any moment you choose, for this thing we call 'Failure' is not the falling down, but the staying down.
