I was just wondering does working out really play a big role in weight loss or is it just an another myth? Sure working out burns calories but respectively it makes you hunger also. For example check out this: http://www.time.com/time/health/article/0,8599,1914857-1,00.html

What are your opinions on this and has Mark actually addressed this question on his site? I personally don't need any weight-loss but this issue got me interested.

I posted that two weeks ago, there is another thread open right now about not being able to lose weight "despite" lots of exercise, and Mark points out that excess exercise makes us eat more.

    The article is correct.

sprinting/HIIT and heavy weighlifting definitely help retain muscle while trying to lose weight (so that ypou predominantly lose fat rather than LBM), which is one of the reasons, I think, Mark encourages these forms of exercise.
