    Bakin Bacon

    Primal Fuel
    I am planning on taking this on a hiking trip, it will be stored in air tight bags. Does anyone have any idea how long it will last. The climate will be cold but not freezing.

    I am hoping 5 days ??

    I have no idea. I know there is precooked bacon in the grocery stores and it doesn't require refirgeration, but I'm sure they use some type of preservative. I would think it would be OK for at least a day.

    Maybe you could try canned meats, homemade primal energy bars, and some sort of recipe using coconut oil? Those things are all going to be more stable.
