    Soup recipes..recs?

    Primal Fuel
    just after a soup recipe to make so i don't have to cart around salad ingredients all the time!

    i have a whole butternut that i bought at the weekend, plus plenty of shallots, a red pepper, garlic

    i like a really thick soup, not to spicy but bold flavours...

    anyone got anything??

    I'd throw it all into a pot of stock. Once its been cooking a good while, I'd blend it down to get teh desired consistancy. Sometimes i'll remove 1/3 of the veg chunks. Blend the rest down to the desired constiancy and add the chunks removed earlier. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

    Not much to it.

    okay...what kind of stock...I have a little beef stock left from casserolr - or should i get some chicken for better flavour?>
