    You VS Grok?

I love Primal living. Nothing I've ever found has fit me so well from a dietary and exercise standpoint. But I realized last night that this does NOT mean I want to go back 50,000 years =p

    Chris has:
Lovely foam mattress topper with fluffy blanket.

    Grok had:
    Straw, dirt ground, rocks.

    Chris has:
    An enviable mane of hair.

    Grok had:
    Lice.

    Chris has:
A cute sweater from H&M. Jeans.

    Grok had:
    Itchy wool. Animal skins.

    Chris has:
    Coffee, Pokemon, and Books

    Grok had:
    More lice.

I thought this was fun. Share your own You VS Grok!

Me: A twin bed in a room all by myself
Grok: A soft bed of pine needles close to his loved ones and comrades for a peaceful, secure night's sleep

Me: Jeans that I can't wait to get out of
    Grok: A loincloth

Me: Internet (which is kind of like being with other people without any of the actual benefits)
Grok: Outdoor play with active friends and family

Me: A car to let me get to far away places quickly
Grok: A lifestyle that gave him everything he needed right where he was

Yeah, this has been a real blast.

You'd have more credibility with that comment if you weren't hanging out on the internet
    Liz.

Zone diet on and off for several years....worked, but too much focus on exact meal composition
Primal since July 2010...skinniest I've ever been and the least stressed about food

Grok: A clean world, simplicity, self actualization, a sense of play and low stress.

Us: "Western nutrition," Big Corn, agricultural policy, heaps of carcinogens with every breath or bite we take, and a mindset that has twisted us away from the very simple concept of "eat well and be happy."

Got to see the good and the bad =p
