Been very busy the last couple of days. I am starting to write my literature review for my capstone project for my MA program. My diet is going great still. I'm down to 217.4. Todays lunch is ground beef with raw brocoli. Not sure what dinner is yet, most likely a salad.

Well, insomnia returned to my life yesterday. I didn't get a wink of sleep and I'm not sure if it's from stress/anxiety or from drinking an herbal Ojibwa tea before going to bed, caffeine free. Either way, I hope to get good sleep tonight. I'm actually functioning pretty well today and have also began writing my APP (thesis-like) for my MA degree. I'm hoping this will lower my anxiety level a bit by finally seeing some results from all of the research that I have been reviewing.
Worked out on my upper body today. Mike helped me with assisted pull ups and those actually did a number on my left arm. Tomorrow is a new form of sprints, kind of excited. Hopefully, I can keep up!

It's been a couple of weeks since my last post. I'm still doing PB, took a small break from lifting just to recuperate the muscles a bit. I'm now going to run a 5K in mid November. It's kind of a small goal. Perhaps I'll find a nice 10K in spring. I'm down to 214, been here for a week or so now. I've switched to eating more carbs on the wo days. Eating 1 big sweet potato in my PWO meal. I still don't understand the concept of cutting down the fat on wo days though. i mean, even if I don't, i'm not getting 2300 calories or whatever I should be doing. Either way, I'm excited to start gaining more muscle. Losing weight at the same time, also. My bp is still a concern of mine. I've started eating tomatoes and spinach like crazy. My salt is cut back too, although the beef I buy has salt in it as well as the canned tuna. It was a little lower this morning, 141/87. The bottom number is the lowest it's been in a long time. I know that those numbers are still high though. I go to the docs office at the end of next week. I suspect I will start taking medication, which i will consent to, if nothing else to ease my mind.
