Thread: How much meat a day page

    Someone asked this question on another site and I thought I'd ask it here.


    How much meat do you all eat per day?


    I eat 5 eggs a and about a pound of meat a day.

    I haven't really kept track of the meat alone, but my daily protein intake is about 60-70g. I would say I eat about 5-10 oz of meat.

    I'd say I'm similar on eggs and meat consumption to you on average, but obviously it varies.

    Depends on what your goals are. Presumably primarily protein, it depends on whether the meat is lean like turkey breast or fatty like bacon or pastrami. (The local store deli only sells two lean pastramis. They suck, no fat.)


    And maba, you KNOW I'm going to say that's what Fitday is for! Real data, no guessing.

    I eat anywhere from 75-150 grams of protein a day, including eggs. It boggles my mind, some times.

    I average about a pound per day, between b-fast, lunch, and dinner. And usually 3 eggs at least That's usually around 100grams of protein all together.

    1/2 to 1 pound I'd say. I'm lifting pretty hard these days and nothing really hits the spot quite like a juicy fatty piece of meat.

    Right now I'm having about six eggs a day, plus at least 12 to 14 ounces of meat. It's not cheap! But it's worth it.

    Primal eating in a nutshell: If you are hungry, eat Primal food until you are satisfied (not stuffed). Then stop. Wait until you're hungry again. Repeat.
