I did a few sled drags today for the first time and I loved it!! I remember several threads in the recent past where people were asking for sprint alternatives; I think sled dragging would be a great one. It makes your legs burn and gets your heart rate up in short order. I will definitely be doing these more often in the future.
When I was in school, I was on the track team, a sprinter. Coach had us drag tires filled with various amounts of concrete, sprinting.
I went to the next level and recruited my neighbor and his VW Beetle for some car draging workouts.
I went to state. I'm thinking of sled dragging again, because everytime I sprint lately, I get very sore thighs (I think I'm overextending behind)
