    Ah, poor you.

Is it a muscle strain thing with spasms or something more, what does your chiropractor think?

Can't say I don't relate to the nonprimal foods when in pain and feeling like crap.

    It's a disc thing

I'm not sure why I want them...or why my Dragon demands them...

    Possible reasons?:
This will make me feel better
Poor me, I deserve a treat
Well its all gone to hell so what difference will it make

Hmm, I should probably think some on this...the answer might be very enlightening

A disc thing...so is there any treatment options, since you've had so many flare ups in the past year? That's not good.

So I guess you'll be back more onto white wine vs red?

So sorry to hear about your back. I hope it improves and something will happen in terms of treatment.

    Wednesday

Supply job today. When I take attendance I have to fill out a bubble sheet. With pencil. Fill in the dots of the absent students. Send it to the office. Well, all morning I thought it was Tuesday...yeah, not good

Oh, AND I had construction students doing textbook work.
1st period I had 7 students. Grade 10. They finished the work in a 1/2 hour. Then they played games on their iPads.
2nd period I had 5 students. Grade 11. And one "visitor". About 3 did the work and then they "explored" the family studies room we were in. I'm embarrassed to list some of the things they did...but here are a few: put child proof covers over the door knobs, played with a ping pong ball, tried to plug in an iron... I 'lost' 2 halfway through the class and another 2 in the last 5 minutes.
3rd period I had 3 students. One signed himself out 1/2 way through the class. At least they all did the assignment.
4th period NO ONE showed up! No one. I called the office. They paged the class. Nothing. A girl that I've had in a class before asked if she could come in my class instead of staying with the supply teacher she had. I made sure it was OK with the other supply teacher and the student and I talked all class.

My back's been OK today. Of course I was careful with it. I sat in my classes. I was careful getting in and out of the car. Once home I didn't pick up anything off the floor or stoop over to pull clothes out of the dryer, of pick up and dump out the compost bucket, or...

I DID sit on the side step with a glass of red and some pistachios and threw some balls for my butterflies

Tomorrow I take my Daughter back to the Fowler Kennedy clinic for a re-evaluation of her knee.

A microdiscectomy is the treatment. It's a fairly minor procedure which can make a remarkable difference. I scrub in on them everyday and my fella had one - went from having to crawl to the bathroom to pain-free in one day.

It is surgery though, with all that entails. Still, it may be worth getting a referral to a neurosurgeon.
