    Awesome concert

    Thanksgiving weekend.
    All my children home
    Turkey, wine, dessert...

I'm finding my enthusiasm for daily postings to be...lacking.
Maybe 2+ years will do that.

I'm mostly primal (reminds me of "mostly dead" - The Princess Bride) as far as food goes.
The other areas...could use a lot of work...

I'm feeling very content in my new house, despite all the boxes.

Ok I've flicked back and cant find the house reference... so you'll have to repeat. By the way happy birthday and happy 2 year primal anniversary. Amazing.

I'm going to go and update my life and do a post.

Thanks for stopping by, Winencandy. It makes me feel happy that mine is one of the journals you catch up on. And glad that you've finally had enough spare time to catch up on anything! Wow, Thanksgiving the week after you move into a new house. You are with it! (Or crazy! )

Happy belated Thanksgiving. Sounds like you had a good one. I hope with all those hands at home you got some help unpacking.

3 years ago we bought a 100 acre farm, with a 100 year old house. I saw it for the 1st time this summer We told the old man that lived there he could stay as long as he wanted. He moved to a sr. apt complex in early Sept and we moved in on Sept 22. This was our 1st move in 25 years! (We also celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary 4 days later)

Post 2977 has some photos of the 1st time I saw the house (with the old owner's furniture)
I haven't posted any with our stuff in it yet (Of course all you would see would be piles of boxes )

    Tuesday
I spent the morning trying to organize my office. I set up the printer and made a small dent in the pile of boxes
In the afternoon I planted 62 cloves of garlic! (30 from one local farmer and 32 from another organic farmer - they were smaller)
I covered them with soybean "straw" from the field. I laughed thinking about what people driving by would think while watching the crazy lady rake her field! I was cold after planting the garlic so I grabbed a chair, a book and a glass of wine and sat in my greenhouse with my Butterflies. It was lovely

In the evening I soaked in my claw foot tub and then watched Rocky Horror Picture Show

    Wednesday
    I hate funerals.
I had to drive my In Laws to a funeral today, NE of London.
    I knew no-one.
I STILL almost cried at one point.
    I'm such a hopeless sap.

I spent a few hours with my Farmer and then he left with his buddies to go on his annual moose hunting trip in the "Swamp Donkey Express" (an old converted school bus). 9 hour drive. So, for the 25th time, I'm a moose hunter's widow for a week.

    Thursday

    Slept in till 9
Chai with whipping cream and then nothing till supper.
Went shopping in London, bought some house things. A cast iron tea pot, an old-looking, frilly red apron to hang in my retro kitchen, stainless steel measuring cups, a basket for the Butterflies toys, and some other little things. I stopped at the chocolate store and bought 3 75 & 80% and one 100% dark chocolate bars.

Then I went to my chiropractor.

After supper (left over chicken thigh, squash, tomatoes and cheese {old & Brie}) I went to play practice. Once I got home I hunted up a pirate costume for a theatre event on the 20th.

    My back is sore again...

So how are you liking the new home? Seems like you're doing a great job at getting the garden in order! I'm jealous of the greenhouse. Clawfoot tub sounds pretty awesome, too.

Glad to hear you saw the chiro, but you need to take it easy for a few days, methinks.
