Ups and downs going on, I see.

I find it a nice relief to not eat sometimes. I know how weird that sounds.

    Hahaha!

I wasn't amazing on Monday...there is something about the booth that sucks out all my "powers"/wakes my Dragon/turns me into a starving eating machine...

That's my life. Ups and Downs.
    (In everything but my weight)
It doesn't sound weird to me

    10 Days till Moving Day!!!

    Wednesday
Hair Day! I hid my grey.
On my way to the hairdressers, my mind was thinking about packing and Moving Day and the next thing I knew the car approaching me flicked on its lights. I glanced down at my speedometer, sighed and pulled over. The police car pulled a U-turn and came up behind me. It was a female officer that I kinda knew. She asked for my ID and told me I was doing 105 in an 80. I admitted it. Said I was late for my hair appointment and that my mind was on my move in 10 days.

She let me off with a warning!!!!

I stopped to check on my Mother in Law, she's gradually getting better. I picked up a 6 quart basket of purple plums and spent the afternoon cutting them up and making spiced plums. The recipe called for 6 cups of sugar!! In PLUMS? I did not/could not put that in. I put 1/2 cup of maple syrup in instead. They are not sweet but I'm the only one who eats them.

After supper we went back to the new house and I painted a second coat on yesterday's wood and my Farmer did some wiring.

My stupid, stupid back is bothering me again

Police officers always soften up when you admit you were wrong. At least in my fortunately limited experience.

So sorry about your back. Not the greatest time for it to be giving you problems, is it?

Hi there! That chocolate sounds amazing. I checked out the website but didn't see if they shipped their chocolate anywhere. Do you know if they ship? I am always looking for a good chocolate. My favorite for the past few years has been the 70% and now the 77% dark Chocolove bars. They are rich dark chocolate without being overly bitter - they are very smooth.

    Hope your back feels better.

No it's not. Funny, it can be great for months and then BANG move the tiniest bit the wrong way and it's bad.
    Stupid back

Hi difwiz! I don't know if they ship. If I remember I'll ask the next time I stop in. Or you could contact them.
    Thanks

    Thursday

    Painting.
A friend came and helped me
Painting old cement basement walls sucks.
    My back sucks.

My Farmer tore down a wall between two small bedrooms to make a large master bedroom today
Then he dry-walled my 8x5 closet

After supper we entered some things in the local fair.

I have a supply teaching job tomorrow

    Friday

Supply teaching, Transportation classes. My afternoon class had ONE student in it!!!
Evidently grade 12 auto students don't see the need to attend when there's a supply teacher

    My back still sucks

The local fair is on this weekend. I'm going tonight. Ambassador competition (friends of Daughter's), tractor pull, beer garden...

    Yeah...

Poor back. What do you do to take care of it?
