Oy vey. Different priorities, but lightbulbs? Really?

My favorite story of this variety came from my neighbor who thought he was having a heart attack, so he drove himself to the emergency room (!) and on the way, decided to get a cheeseburger (!!) because he didn't think they would let him eat anything good for a while if he WAS having a heart attack (he wasn't, luckily).

Glad nothing was broken. That is always such a concern as people get older. But non-breaks sometimes take even longer to get over, it seems. And with no cast to 'help out'.

Good job on all this packing and clearing. You are a MACHINE!

My goodness. Never a dull moment around your place, is there? It must be a relief when it happens. Stage manager sounds like fun.

And yes, I believe your FIL. And your MIL. I suspect I will be a little like them, if I'm not already. We tend to downplay discomfort and keep soldiering on, to the point where it can get ridiculous.

    Friday
Morning: I made a trip to see my chiropractor. She fixed me up good
I also found the MOST EXCELLENT chocolate!! They roast, grind and make it right in the shop!!
I'm never buying chocolate anywhere else!!!
Afternoon: I took Lily back to the vet for her ear checkup and a blood draw.
She did an EXCELLENT job of staying easy. No muzzle required!
Evening: We went to a friend's pig roast LOTSA pork!! and wine...

    Saturday.
Was the auction sale at our new house. I bought back a few items to go in the house
I missed a couple of items, but spent about $500 and dank some wine.

    Sunday
Firemen's Breakfast at the firehall. Boxed scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes (I didn't have any)
    Meh
Packed. Took a couple loads of stuff over to the new house. Packed some more.

You've been rather busy! I'm guessing there is more packing going on, I can't imagine having to do that myself. Our moves are covered by work, so the packers come in for 2 days and pack the entire house, then a full day to load the truck, and that's it. Getting ready for that is enough for me!

Do tell more about that chocolate you found.

TONS of packing! Movers. Nice. But I'm not sure how I'd feel about someone packing up my 'stuff'. Our friends are going to help us on 'moving day' to move the big things.

    The chocolate. Wow.
    Habitual Chocolate
