Enjoy your girl time, winencandy. There are days I could use some myself (thankfully I'm down to 2 men in the house from 5!).

    Thanks!
    I had a GREAT time!

    It was an AWESOME week.
It was also my birthday week. I'm now 48.
We had some amazing meals. Most were adapted to primal for me
I ate and drank SO much this week!
    I also laughed SO much!

We were in a trailer. With AC THANK GOODNESS!!!
There were blender drinks. There was a mini inflatable pool.
There were thunderstorms. We never did spent the afternoon at the beach.
Every time we got ready for the beach, a thunderstorm appeared

We created a drinking game out of "Uno" during one thunderstorm afternoon

We also discovered that if you reduce Buttershots liqueur it makes a terrific sauce for fruit and for cheese cake

Today, my Farmer sent the following texts out to his friends:
Beer. Gin. Lemonaide. Our house. 3pm.

We had a lovely afternoon and evening.
About 10 people ended up at our place.
    We fed and "watered" them

    A candle was our "bonfire"

    Saturday

My parent's anniversary was yesterday. So my sister and I gave them today off from working at the booth.
This meant I worked at the booth.
    Damage:
One cup of caramel turtles and fudge ice cream, a handful of gummy worms, a few onion rings, several fries...

    I was there from 11:30 till 9:30.

    It was HOT

    My feet are sore.

Okay, I've never asked. Who owns "the booth"? Where and what is it exactly? Other than a place that dispenses junk food?

It's a food booth/office for a trailer park. The trailer park located on Lake Erie. My parents have run the booth for the owners for the past...18 (?) years. They take care of parking the transient trailers, looking after the washrooms and operating the booth. (Another guy takes care of the seasonal campers and the lawns etc)

The booth sells fresh cut fries ('cause Dad hates frozen ones), hand made burgers (no fillers) and on toasted bakery buns with Vadaila onions and tomatoes, perch burgers and dinners (fries, coleslaw & tarter sauce) sausages, hot dogs, onion rings, poutine, about 10 flavours of ice cream, sundaes, milkshakes, chocolate bars, chips, and about 20 different 5 cent candies.

    Does that answer your questions?

Yup. Sounds like classy junk food at least, ROFL! I'll take a burger...

Perch burger? Intriguing. And probably delicious.

    Sunday

I spent the day at Sunfest!

I left home at 10am with my Daughter and my Niece. My sister ran a 10K in London at 8am and we met her at Sunfest. We wandered through the vender tents, spending money (ALOT ) we had Pad Thai (and my stomach bloated up ) and listened to music. They were ready to leave at 2, but I wanted to hear Five Alarm Funk at 3:45, so my Daughter went home with my sister. Around 5ish I met up with my band conductor and spent the rest of the evening with her. We saw Calypso Rose among other acts and I left at 10:30.

I bought a cute little dress, a wrap skirt, a beach coverup, a large Indian cotton blanket/table cloth, a shoulder bag, some "natural" insect repellant, a jar of Shea Butter, a Five Alarm Funk CD, a handmade long sleeved Himalayan winter shirt, Peppermint headache cream, and a wooden pick for my hair.

    I think that's all

Oh, I forgot the slices of fresh pineapple on a stick

That doesn't count my Daughter's purchases...

    I LOVE Sunfest!!!!!!

OK, so I did forget a couple of things I bought

I took a photo of all of it:

Clockwise from the top: silk wrap skirt, Himalayan top, green dress, CD, lemongrass sachet (for the car), headache cream, Shea butter, insect repellent, hair pin on a strawberry mat, shoulder bag, and the pink swim coverup all laying on the Indian blanket (which is covering a king sized bed!)

Here's a concert photo from Sunfest:

And here's a shot of my Farmer's "red neck" cup holder that he made on Friday night. With a drill. In a BRAND NEW chair!

    Monday

    I ran/walked 2.5k this morning.

This afternoon I took some beer out to my Farmer while he was combining the EVIL wheat
Here's a few photos for the non farmers:
