    Ha!

    I shoulda stayed home

I was IN BED at 9:30 last night!
    (my usual bedtime is 11:30-12:00)
    I felt HORRIBLE!.
    Serves me right.

Did I learn anything from it??

    NOOOO

I was back out at the booth this afternoon, helping make hamburger patties.
(FYI - pure lean beef, NO additives, hand shaped)

Of course I ate supper there.
A burger patty, tomatoes, old cheddar, fried onions, pickles (so far so good)
    and
3 onion rings, 2 french fries, a tiny bit of chocolate turtles and fudge ice cream and a handful of gummy worms
    again...

I did have less fries, onion rings, ice cream and gummy worms, and no deep fried perch (1st dusted with dry pancake mix)

I don't feel AS horrible as last night.

    But STILL
I HATE the power those foods have over me

AND I have to go back there to work tomorrow night

Hang tough, winencandy! You can do it. Maybe either a turtle or a gummie. I've got a weakness for onion rings myself.

and now for the rest of my day...

*I'd forgotten, Soccer Daughter brought home two kittens on Saturday.
Of course they are sweet and adorable.
Lily ignores them - she has a healthy respect for cats.
Josie does not. Her favorite "activity" with the last cat was chewing on her ears...

Anyway, Orbie (a black & white kitty) has hurt her leg. Somehow yesterday morning. I was in the other room and heard a crash. A heavy photo frame that was in the window sill was on the ground and Orbie and Kiya (a calico) were innocently hiding on the other side of the room.

    Orbie was limping
She won't put any weight on her left rear paw.
I've checked it out as best as I can, I can't feel or see anything. She can stretch it and flex her claws, but she's not putting any weight on it. Poor baby. And so far I haven't had any time to take her to the vet (not that I think he can DO anything about it)

Somehow, I managed to waste most of my morning and I was rushed to get to London and the school on time (noon) for my supply job. Lunch was a protein shake. After school I rushed back to the booth and made 67 120g burger patties.

After supper I went to a Horticulture Society "Tabletop" Water Garden Workshop and made something...

The postings for teaching positions came out yesterday.
There is ONE school with a Communication Technology posting.

    Nice!

Have you tried just promising yourself a small cheat at the end of the evening? It might help. In my CW days, I would sometimes beat temptation at get-togethers that way. I would just say, "Sure you can have it. At x:xx, just before you leave..." Then I would have no time to over-indulge.

Thanks, I'll try that tomorrow night.

I like Judg's idea. Hubby & I are going out Sat night to a dinner at the base, I told him tonight I'd drive (normally we'd cab it as we'd both like a few drinks). We won't be out terribly late, so if I want something I can always have it back at home. He was happy to agree .

I like the mini water garden! You've been busy, teaching, kitten minding, booth attending. As for the booth, a couple of days of whatever, now back on program.

I'm expecting you're going to apply for the Comm Tech posting??
