Girls, we are as bad as boys, if not worse! Twice with a head injury when I was younger, 1 broken wrist. Countless other stupid stuff that should have landed me and/or my sister in the hospital. Such as laying side by side on the road and letting my brother's friends pop wheelies over us. No, my mom didn't know about that until just recently. Probably a good thing! My sister was in gymnastics, so there were the injuries from that. Like the time she hit the pummel vault with her hand and her feet didn't go over her, she ended up flying into the ground. Mom saw that one So did I.

    I know. Kids!

I texted my other two sons and told them they were NOT allowed to do ANYTHING remotely sporty or dangerous!

If Lily takes it easy, she has a slight limp, if she runs around or tries digging, she's limping again for the next day. Last night Lily was really limping badly. I was going to take her to the vet today, but I had a supply job. When I got home she was walking on it, so now I don't know if I'll take her tomorrow or not.

Just goes to show Lily is smarter than the kids. Same with Latte and Juliet - if hurt, they take it easy and rest. The boys - go, go, go!

    Wednesday

I had a supply job today. I texted Daughter at 8 to see how she was.
"Really tired and slow" but she was going to school
    At 9 she texted me:
"I think there's something wrong because I was trying to write my chem test and the words weren't making sense"
Of course I was teaching and didn't see it until 11! I texted her then and she was waiting in the Dr's office with my Farmer.
    at 11:30:
"There's no brain damage but I'm not allowed to play sports for a week" (mild concussion)
She went back to school and then to work after school!

I didn't get to talk to her until I picked her up at 8.
She was trying to write the test, but was frustrated when it didn't make sense and was starting to cry. The teacher saw and asked her if she wanted to go for a walk with her friends. (Daughter is a honours student, a "model" student, so he knew she wasn't playing games) Her friends were more worried than she was, one of them told a teacher and she called my Farmer.

Tonight she says she's fine, but she wonders if maybe she should change her jersey #. It's 13

Daughter's laid down in a row to be jumped over too! She's accident prone. She once stubbed her toe while sitting down!
She was in gymnastics too. Competitive soccer seems to be hard on her. She's torn her ACL, been kicked so bad that she couldn't walk, and now the concussion. But she loves soccer...

Oooh, poor kid. Okay, I take back what I said earlier. Nobody else needs to get injured! Glad to hear that the concussion is just mild, she should be back to her normal self quickly. Jersey #13?? Hmmm

    Once again, how YOU doing?
